Getting to the hotel

By car

From Paris, reach Chamonix via the A6 towards Lyon, then the A40 to the Arve Valley. Allow approximately 6h30 to 7h depending on traffic.
From Lyon, take the A42 then the A40 towards Geneva / Chamonix for a journey of around 2h30.
From Geneva, the A1 and then the A40 provide access to Chamonix in approximately 1h15.

Take the Chamonix-Sud exit, then follow Avenue de Courmayeur towards the town centre until reaching Lykke Slow Hôtel & Spa.

On site, a covered car park with 30 spaces is available for guests. The hotel does not have electric vehicle charging stations, but electrical outlets are available for guests who need to recharge.

By train

Chamonix-Mont-Blanc train station is located approximately 10 minutes’ walk from Lykke Slow Hôtel & Spa. It is served by the Saint-Gervais–Vallorcine regional railway line, connected to the mainline network via Saint-Gervais-les-Bains-Le Fayet.

From Paris, allow approximately 5h30 to 6h30 with a connection at Lyon Part-Dieu or Bellegarde-sur-Valserine. From Lyon, the journey takes around 4h30 to 5h30. From Geneva, allow approximately 3 to 3h30 via Saint-Gervais-les-Bains-Le Fayet.

Taxis and shuttle services are available at the station, but the most convenient option for groups remains arranging private transfers in advance of the stay.

By plane

Geneva International Airport (GVA) is the main air gateway for reaching Lykke Slow Hôtel & Spa in Chamonix. It offers regular connections with Paris, major French cities, and numerous European destinations.

The menu focuses on the essentials, featuring a selection of hot drinks, beers, wines, and cocktails with or without alcohol*. Guests can also enjoy generous sharing snacks, including beautiful boards of local cured meats and valley cheeses, showcasing regional specialities in a cosy and relaxed atmosphere.

The Kaffe & Kro Restaurant

At Kaffe & Kro, the cuisine follows the seasons and the spirit of the mountains, with a menu that is widely appreciated. Guests can share a Savoyard mushroom cheese toast, a convivial fondue, or a honey-roasted Camembert, alongside meat dishes, fish options, and vegetarian choices.

Homemade desserts bring the meal to a sweet and comforting close, just as you would expect from a generous mountain inn — “Kro” meaning “inn” in Danish. In summer, Saturday evenings take on a special atmosphere with show-cooking barbecues on the terrace, created according to available produce, or an indoor buffet option if the weather changes.
