The town is approximately 1 hour from Besançon (90km), 1 hour 30 minutes from Strasbourg (140km), 2 hours 30 minutes from Lyon (300km) and 4 hours from Paris (400km). Belfort is also close to the Swiss (Basel, 1 hour, 66 km) and German (Freiburg, 1 hour 15 minutes) borders, making it a strategic location for visitors from France and Europe.

By train

Belfort is served by two convenient train stations for organising a seminar, business meeting or wedding.

Belfort-Montbéliard TGV station is 15 minutes from the city centre and offers direct links to Paris (2 hours 15 minutes), Lyon, Strasbourg, Marseille, Lille and Frankfurt.
