Behind its 1930s façade, in the very heart of Aix-en-Provence, Hôtel Saint Christophe Aix-en-Provence tells an unusual story: that of a former garage transformed first into a dining address, then into a city-centre hotel. In 1936, Léopold Bonnet, an Aix native who had returned from Paris with a passion for the profession, opened the Relais Saint-Christophe here. A few rooms were added later. His son subsequently gave the address its Parisian brasserie spirit, now carried on by Brasserie Léopold.

By road

From Paris, allow around 7 hours by road via the A6, then the A7.
From Lyon, allow 3 hours via the A7.
From Marseille, it takes just 35 minutes to reach Hôtel Saint Christophe.

Reach Aix-en-Provence via the Aix Centre or Pont de l’Arc exits, depending on where you are coming from, then head towards the city centre and Avenue Victor Hugo. While the seminar hotel has only a limited private garage with 12 spaces, available by reservation, the public Rotonde and Mignet car parks are less than a 5-minute walk away.

By train

Aix-en-Provence TGV station offers direct connections from Paris (3 hours), Lyon (2 hours), Lille (5 hours 30 minutes) and many other major French cities.
